Concerned with the frequent demolition of architecturally significant properties in the central Florida area, Florida Victorian architectural antiques was formed in the spring of 1981 for the salvage and reuse of artifacts and details from these buildings.
Since that time we have salvaged these authentic structural components for residential contractors, architects, interior designers, window display artists and photographers, movie and television prop companies, restauranteurs, and old house restorers.
In addition to providing the architectural items described, we also offer consignment retail sales, short term rental of articles, architectural appraisal and restoration consultation, locating rare materials, and referrals for repair and residential installation.
Florida Victorian Architectural Salvage is located in historic downtown DeLand, Florida in a restored 8,000 sq. foot vintage 1926 building. Our address is 112 W. Georgia Ave, DeLand, FL 32720.
We are open for public viewing and items purchase from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, other times by appointment. Generally, days of the week are used for necessary building salvage activities away from the studios. There is usually someone working in the studio and you are welcome to visit. However, for clients traveling a distance or persons with specific needs, we would suggest an appointment with Mark Shuttleworth, the owner or Danny Sorensen, the general manager.
